On
May 26, 2003 my life changed forever. After several weeks of breathing difficulties
I was taken to the ER and the next day was diagnosed with lung cancer that had
metastasized to my brain and bones. I was assigned an oncologist and radiologist.
I also chose to work with a nutritionist, chiropractor and naturopath as I have
always been interested in alternative healing methods. I felt that by using
both traditional and alternative therapies I would be covering all my bases.
However, I soon realized that there was no communication among the various practitioners.
The alternative experts each had their own preferred protocol and my oncologist
was skeptical of all of them.
I was improving until early October 2003 when I started having a bad reaction
to a new lung cancer drug. I had no appetite, was very weak, and extremely
short of breath. My oncologist took me off the drug and said to take a rest
for a couple of weeks. The other therapists didn’t seem to know what
to do either.
I decided to visit the Cancer Screening and Treatment Center of Nevada
in Reno, where I was treated by Dr. Forsythe, Dr. Donalson and a competent
and caring staff. They went over every supplement and medication I was taking,
made some adjustments and saw to it that all the drugs complemented each
other. They took the appropriate medical tests and treated my symptoms. They
also began chemotherapy accompanied by insulin. After two weeks I returned
home. My breathing had greatly improved, my appetite returned and I felt
much stronger.
Testimonials
During
the last few months of 2002 a growth on my left shoulder blade appeared.
It began growing very rapidly ad Dr. Forsythe advised me to see a dermatologist
immediately. My dermatologist removed the growth and sent it to UCLA Medical
Center for their opinion and it came back malignant. They said it came
from somewhere else in my body. After an MRI and other tests, we discovered
I had a tumor in my right lung.
Dr. Forsythe was my choice in helping me win the battle over cancer. We first
began alternative treatments and then began low dose chemo. I took two alternative
treatments each week and one chemo each week for three weeks and rested one week.
After taking all the alternative treatments, all the blood work appeared very
promising. I am still taking the low dose chemo and according to the blood work
I appear to be in remission. I know that Dr. Forsythe was the right choice. The
whole staff at the Clinic is very caring people.
Thanks
to Dr. Forsythe and his outstanding staff, I have been able to continue my life
and be an active participant in my treatment and in the lives of my family.
Dr. Forsythe is a wonderful and compassionate doctor. I travel 1,000 miles three
out of every four weeks for my treatment from Dr. Forsythe because he has helped
me and I feel better. I have metastatic breast cancer and I believe I was very
near death when Dr. Forsythe began treating me more than seven months ago. Although
I still have some cancer related problems that we continue to fight, I am still
very much alive with a positive outlook. I attribute my good fortune to many
wonderful people, most notably are Dr. Forsythe, his clinical staff and my family.
While being treated at Dr. Forsythe's clinic, I have met and talked to many
other patients from places across the United States and around the world. Dr.
Forsythe is always held in the highest regard for his medical skills and his
caring attitude. I believe with Dr. Forsythe's continue treatment, care and
support, I can continue living with hope and enjoyment and I would recommend
Dr. Forsythe to my loved ones and anyone else I know.
